Thank you for the response. I wanted to say however, that although yes, I am from the DRCongo, living in the US, I lived in Brazzavile 2 years, as an expatriate (my mother works for WHO, and used to work as a Regional adviser at the African regional Office of WHO, which is in Brazzaville). Plus we speak the same languages, and descend from the same peoples and kingdoms, so I cannot help but to be interested in their fate too. That goes for Africa too, and the World even :). I hope you had a Merry Christmas, down there in Virginia. Thank you for posting.

I was thinking more of ex-patriots who have to carry around lots of ID documents, of course.

The self-censuring statement you're referring to, for those who haven't left a comment here is:

Your mature and responsible replies are greatly appreciated by all. Thank you.

and came with the template I'm using for this site.

Also, I noticed your interest in Congo Democratique, so I've changed my category to Congo-Brazzaville.

Thanks for reading.

I like how you make us auto-censire our comments by that statement; very clever. Anyway, I really liked this post. I think for the amount of money people have in Congo, that is exactly the type of wallets people should have. :)
